CleanRecordedInfo Program

MyStuff maintains a file containing information about recordings it has made. This file is used to display information in the Archive screen and to avoid recording repeat programmes.

Over time, this file may contain a few thousand records – especially true if soaps are being recorded. This leads to slow boot times while MyStuff tries to match the recordings to the data records. It also leads to increased memory consumption as it maintains a copy of this file in memory.

The aim of this program is to remove those RecordedInfo entries that are no longer necessary. This should result in faster start up times and reduced memory load on the Toppy. 

The program doesn't automatically clean all entries, it only considers those selected by the user. When cleaning, it retains records that refer to an existing recording file, those created within the last fortnight and, optionally, those that match a MyStuff Search.
